In the fall of 2009 Mpiri and the danish dance company Saga Dance Company toured the north atlantic with the play Barbara, based on a novel by Jørgen Frantz Jacobsen.

The tour had two plays in Iceland, two in the Faroe Islands and one in The Black Diamond in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In 2007 we have been working intensely recording a CD with new interpretations of faroese christmas songs, carols and psalms. The CD – Upp gleðist – which means Rejoice, was released with a concert in the Nordic House in Tórshavn the 1’st of december 2007, and a concert in Samuels Church in Copenhagen 5′th of december. In 2003 Mpiri released its first CD – Asbest. Asbest was well received by critics and public. It received 4 out of 6 hearts in Politiken – one of the biggest newspapers in Denmark. Below are links to parts of some of the works on the CD.
